Kentucky was divided into two zones, known as the Eastern and the Western Section. This would help it to begin its growth in becoming a self supporting district of the United Pentecostal Church, known as the Kentucky District. At Lexington on October 6, 1952, the District was divided into three sections. There were Section 1, Madisonville area, Section 2 Louisville area, and Section 3, Duval Valley area.
